Retail Sales Associate - Part Time

AutoZone offers the perfect chance to build your career in an essential industry serving the motoring public. What We’re Looking For Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old to apply. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise. Flexible Schedule: Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. You’ll Go The Extra Mile If You Have Automotive Knowledge: Basic knowledge of automotive parts is preferred. Exceptional Communication: Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English. Automotive Retail: Previous experience in automotive retail. Certifications: Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification. Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication. Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment. Support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities. Sales & Metrics Mindedness – Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics. Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper point of sale procedures, loss prevention policies ensuring proper financial management. Keep store operations running smoothly. Process Orientation & Safety Compliance – Utilize structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Follow company safety policies and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to maintain a secure work environment. Product Knowledge – Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems. Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
