What You ll Do

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage potential anesthesia complications
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management services
• Assist in various surgical procedures, including general, obstetric, and neurosurgical cases
• Maintain accurate documentation on paper and eventually in Epic (by June 2026)
• Collaborate with anesthesia and OR teams to ensure patient safety and care quality
• Support out-of-department services such as cardiology, endoscopy, radiology, and OB procedures
• Participate in anesthesia procedures including arterial line insertions, IV placements, and intubations

What You Need

• Current RN license and NBCRNA certification
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program (Master s or Doctorate)
• BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred
• Experience with adult and geriatric patients; minimal pediatric cases
• Board certification (AANA) required
• Ability to work independently and within a team, demonstrating excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
• Willingness to work in a hospital setting with supervised anesthesia providers (1 MDA to 4 CRNAs)

Henry Ford Rochester Hospital is a 180-bed facility equipped with 11 operating rooms, offering a broad spectrum of services, including cardiovascular, neuro, orthopedics, and minimally invasive procedures. The role involves supporting a busy surgical schedule with an average of 35 cases per day, providing exceptional anesthesia care across various specialties.
