Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Schedule: Days, 12 hours, 36 per week

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 8 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients during the designated shift.
- Prescribe nursing care based on the nursing process, consistent with the medical plan of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care delivery.
- Incorporate patient and significant others' input in care planning.
- Delegate certain aspects of patient care delivery to other nursing staff based on their clinical competence and legal scope of practice.
- Incorporate teaching and discharge planning needs into the overall plan of care.
