Speech Language Pathologist

Speech Language Pathologist (Healthcare) Lakeport Post Acute | Full-Time & Part-Time $65-$70/hour Help Residents Find Their Voice and Improve Their Quality of Life At Lakeport Post Acute, we believe exceptional rehabilitation changes lives. We're seeking compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our therapy team in Full-Time and Part-Time capacities. Whether helping a resident safely return to eating, improving communication skills after a stroke, or supporting cognitive recovery, you'll play a vital role in restoring independence and enhancing quality of life. What You'll Do Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy teams, residents, and families Conduct dysphagia assessments and implement appropriate interventions Educate residents, caregivers, and staff regarding treatment strategies and recommendations Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and reimbursement requirements Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning activities Qualifications Required: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligibility to obtain Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills Preferred Experience in Skilled Nursing, Post-Acute, Rehabilitation, or Long-Term Care settings Knowledge of dysphagia management and modified diets Experience with cognitive, neurological, and medically complex patient populations Why Join Lakeport Post Acute?
