Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | On-Call Requirements Apply | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures in the Cath Lab setting
• Float to Interventional Radiology (IR) as required, supporting occasional procedures including vascular embolization, port placements, vascular stenting, and nephrostomy tubes
• Assist with stress testing, TEE, and tilt table procedures as part of Cath Lab coverage responsibilities
• Operate and maintain familiarity with GE fluoroscopy equipment and Cerner EHR system
• Participate in on-call rotation; call requirements exceed 12 days per assignment period
• Function as a collaborative team member within an adult patient population in a 90-bed facility

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; RRT or RCIS certification also accepted for Scrub Tech role
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Cardiology
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures required
• IR float experience required
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, and IABP
• Experience with pre/post procedural unit care
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR platform
• Background working with patients presenting with coronary artery disease (CAD)
