Seeking a  Microelectronics Assembler for a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and an interest in working with electronics, this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on role. In this position, you’ll play a key part in assembling and/or testing cutting-edge products and systems in production.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instructions and drawings
• Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements
• Read and interpret assembly process/work instructions
• Work with components ranging from microscopic to large, using visual magnification as needed
• Use various hand tools (e.g., tweezers, rulers, cutters) and pneumatic tools (e.g., torque drivers, screwdrivers)
• Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes
• Collaborate with team members to improve throughput and support continuous improvement

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, reliability, and a desire to grow and learn in the role

Preferred:

• Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics
• Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment
• Willingness to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610
