Graphic Designer Corporate Partnerships

The Carolina Hurricanes are seeking a talented and strategic Graphic Designer, Corporate Partnerships, to join our Creative Services team. This full-time role, based at Lenovo Center, focuses on designing partnership concepts, sales presentations, and activation graphics that help visualize and execute corporate sponsorships.

This designer will be responsible for creating visually compelling partnership activations, sales & Digideck presentations, mockups, in-game visuals, and sponsorship fulfillment assets that bring partnerships to life. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced sports environment, has a strong understanding of brand storytelling, an eye for sales, and is a proactive self-starter who can quickly translate concepts into polished visual mockups that help our sales team tell compelling stories to prospective partners.

Responsibilities

• Design and format compelling presentations and sales decks that help drive partnership opportunities and revenue. This includes visual mockups of activations and areas to display to clients in a professional manner.
• Design partnership-initiated creative assets for digital, in-game displays, print, and experiential marketing.
• Develop eye-catching graphics and branded content that integrate partners while maintaining the Hurricanes’ visual identity.
• Create and refine logos, campaign branding, and visual identities for partnership activations and special events.
• Collaborate with internal teams (corporate partnerships, marketing, game presentation, and social media) to align creative work with strategic partnership goals.
• Ensure brand consistency across all partnership materials while finding innovative ways to enhance engagement.
• Stay up to date on sports marketing, partnership trends, and fan engagement strategies to bring fresh ideas to the team.
• Familiarity with LED ribbons and in-game display systems for designing partner activations
• Prepare files for print and digital production, ensuring all assets meet technical and quality standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working efficiently to meet deadlines in a dynamic sports environment.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in sports, entertainment, or a brand sponsorship-related role.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
• Ability to work on a Windows-based platform
• Experience designing for sales pitches, in-game presentations, and large-format graphics.
• Ability to translate partnership objectives into compelling visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, and interactive design is a plus.
• Understanding of sports partnership activations, fan engagement, and brand marketing.
• Strong typography, layout, and presentation design skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Passion for hockey, sports branding, and corporate partnerships.
• Must pass a criminal background check

Bonus Skills

• Illustration and hand-drawn design capabilities.
• Experience with digital slides for partnership decks. Digideck experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and digital media design.
• Experience with AR/VR activations and experiential marketing design.

Business hours are Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm; however, additional hours will be required as the project workload dictates. This position will work at Lenovo Center.
