Position Overview:

In this advanced role as an allied imaging professional, you will work alongside a diverse team to deliver exceptional imaging services, including ultrasound, CT scans, PET scans, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The main objective of the Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with RVT role is to provide diagnostic patient care through ultrasound and related techniques, performing routine, vascular, interventional, and non-invasive procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Program
  • In addition to the necessary entry-level certifications, the sonographer must exhibit clinical proficiency in abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, or vascular procedures
  • Current Basic Life Support certification
  • RDMS certification in Abdomen or OB/GYN, to be obtained within one year of hire
  • Preferred: At least one year of relevant work experience

About Us:

Our organization is a 314-bed, comprehensive acute care teaching hospital serving Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, Lancaster, and Glen Heights in southwestern Dallas County. We have recently expanded our emergency department by 40,000 square feet and offer a newly renovated intensive care unit, labor and delivery unit, and interventional radiology suite. Our facility includes a Level III Trauma Center, a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and the Dr. Stephen and Marilyn Mansfield Oncology Unit.
