A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Material Handler in Manassas, VA. The Material Handler would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.
Material Handler Compensation
- The pay for this position is $16.00 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Material Handler Highlights
- Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and alternating Wednesdays
- 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM - Day Shift

Material Handler Responsibilities
- Accurately process online transactions
- Receive, deliver, and move materials within the facility
- Perform cycle counts
- Complete material labeling, stocking, and repackaging activities
- Interface with customers and take orders
- Translate customer orders into electronic requests
- Answer customer questions and provide support
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
Material Handler Requirements
- 1-3 years of material handling, warehouse, or related experience
- Ability to lift 25-40 pounds on a regular basis
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Material Handler Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating material handling equipment
- Experience with inventory control and cycle counting
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience processing electronic transactions
