Description: The role involves working in a cath lab environment. The candidate will be responsible for performing interventional radiology procedures. Experience with accessing and managing ports, angioplasty, and cardiac stent placement is essential. Knowledge of carotid angiography and stenting is required. The candidate must be skilled in central venous access and catheter exchange. Involvement in elective procedures and therapeutic interventions is expected. The position requires availability for on-call duties. Familiarity with fluoroscopy and the use of sterile techniques is necessary. Understanding of and ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias is crucial. The candidate should demonstrate effective patient care, particularly with adult and geriatric populations. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is integral to the role. The candidate will participate in maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.
