Job Title: X-Ray Technologist
Location: Eureka, CA
Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 5 x 8-Hour Shifts | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $48/hr - $50/hr (Based on Experience)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a CA X-Ray Technologist for an exciting Local or Travel job in Eureka, CA.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.

• Produce high-quality images while maintaining radiation safety standards.

• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopy equipment safely and efficiently.

• Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures.

• Verify patient identity and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.

• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in Epic.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and radiation safety guidelines.

• Float to like units as needed based on departmental staffing requirements.

• Participate in on-call coverage as assigned.

• Maintain equipment functionality and report any equipment concerns promptly.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience.

• Active California Radiologic Technologist License.

• Fluoroscopy Permit/Certification.

• ARRT (R) Certification.

• Current BLS Certification.

• Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiography procedures.

• Experience with fluoroscopy procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

• Familiarity with Epic charting systems.

• Experience in an acute care hospital setting.

• Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills.
