Cable Technician

Are you a Cable Technician, Low Voltage Technician, or Structured Cabling Installer looking to get your foot in the door with a large-scale data center project? This is your chance to work on one of the most high-profile infrastructure builds in the region while gaining valuable experience in the growing data center industry.

We're looking for Tech I and Tech II level technicians who have experience with structured cabling and are ready to join a fast-paced team environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Pulling, routing, dressing, and labeling Cat5e/Cat6 cable

• Assisting with RJ45 terminations and patch panel installations

• Performing cable identification and labeling

• Completing basic punch-downs for telecom blocks

• Supporting cable testing using Fluke and other testing equipment

• Fiber optic cable handling and dressing

• Maintaining a safe and organized job site

• Working alongside experienced technicians on large-scale installations

✅ What We're Looking For

• Experience with structured cabling installations

• Familiarity with Cat5e/Cat6 cable systems

• Experience pulling and dressing cable in commercial or data center environments

• Ability to work in construction environments

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

• Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team

⏰ Available Shifts1st Shift

7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

2nd Shift

1:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Flexibility to work either shift is highly preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work on ladders and at heights

• Comfortable working in confined spaces

• Lift up to 50 lbs and move up to 75 lbs

• Ability to distinguish cable colors and read labels/schematics

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gahanna, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
