Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation, Boone, NC We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation in Boone, NC. As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide skilled therapy services that help residents improve their ability to perform daily living activities, maximize independence, and enhance quality of life. About the Role: As a COTA at Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. Your key responsibilities will include: Assisting in implementing individualized treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist Providing occupational therapy interventions, including therapeutic activities, ADL training, adaptive equipment use, and functional mobility tasks Documenting residents' treatments, progress, and response to interventions in accordance with facility and regulatory standards Communicating regularly with the supervising OT regarding residents' progress and recommending modifications to treatment plans when appropriate Educating residents, families, and caregivers on exercises, adaptive strategies, and home safety techniques to promote continued independence Adhering to facility policies, professional standards of practice, and all state and federal regulations About Us: Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation has been a provider of skilled and intermediate nursing services to Watauga County and surrounding communities since 1977.
