PLC Programmer

PLC ProgrammerAs our PLC Programmer, you will help the Operations Team by creating and completing programming for Programmable Logic Controllers. You will develop and implement software applications for our products which help control and monitor one of the world's most valuable and limited resources– Water! This position will work in our Plymouth, MN location.Every day, your primary role will be to develop PLC code for our automated control systems. Projects will range from working on new panels and MCC's as they are being manufactured in-house, to doing custom modifications for control systems that are currently in operation. You will utilize Microsoft Excel to organize programming functions. You will coordinate with customers on startups and may need to travel to a customer site. You will work independently, but also with a team of programmers to test out programs prior to deployment to the field. You will be expected to work mostly on-site with some hybrid flexibility as you learn the job and our products.The skills you need:To succeed in this role, you must have experience programming PLC's and other programmable devices. You must be proficient using ladder logic and have experience using CompactLogix, MicroLogix and other industrial control programming applications. A 2-year degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology or equivalent degree and 3-5 years of experience are required.Answering your questions:What are the hours? The starting salary for this position is $75,000 - 85,000/year for Associate level or $88,000 - 100,000/year for Engineer level depending on experience.What benefits do you offer?
