Schedule: Multiple shifts available; 6-month temp-to-hire

Join a dynamic operations and maintenance team as a General Maintenance Technician II in a cutting-edge data center environment. You'll take on challenging mechanical, electrical, and HVAC maintenance-ensuring operations run smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

- Execute planned maintenance and repairs on building equipment and systems
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, pumps, compressors, fans, and controls
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and document activities in the CMMS
- Support installation, inspection, and servicing of new and existing equipment
- Collaborate with co-workers, contractors, vendors, and engineers to deliver project results
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards
- Operate diagnostic instruments, hand tools, and computer hardware for maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate inventory records and communicate part usage
- Suggest improvements to maintenance procedures and equipment performance
- Adapt to changing schedules and priorities as business needs evolve

Required Skills and Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experience in HVAC/R or facility maintenance in data center, industrial, or similar settings
- Proficiency with pneumatic, electric, and electronic control systems
- Skilled in general maintenance, carpentry, painting, and sheet metal work
- Comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet using aerial or scissor lifts
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and work orders
- Commitment to safety and use of personal protective equipment

Preferred Skills

- Previous experience in a data center environment
- Valid Driver's License
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Ability to obtain a security access badge
