Job DescriptionThe Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Division of State-Operated Specialty Care is seeking a committed Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at the Civil Commitment Unit for Sex Offenders (CCUSO) in Cherokee. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a structured, team-focused clinical environment.IncentivesPay increases are eligible after successfully completing the 6-month probationary period, and again every 12 months. See below for more details.Work Schedule – We have the following shifts to offer:• 9:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. or 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. - $1.00/hour shift differential• You'll work a rotating schedule that includes every third weekend . While the schedule is generally consistent, teamwork sometimes calls for flexibility beyond standard hours.What You'll Do As an LPN at CCUSO, you will provide essential nursing care and therapeutic support to a specific high-risk population.
