We are hiring a Business Operations Specialist to serve as the connective tissue for our leadership team. This is a high-trust, high-leverage role that combines program management, HR, executive cadence ownership, internal communications, and oversight of our contract recruiting bench. You will work directly with the executive team. If you are the person friends and colleagues describe as "the one who actually gets things done," this role is built for you.

Project & program management

• Run cross-functional programs end to end — from kickoff to delivery — across the executive team's most important initiatives.
• Stand up lightweight project structure (Monday.com is our platform) without adding bureaucracy.
• Track commitments, surface risks early, and make sure decisions actually convert into action.

HR partnership

• Partner with leadership on the people side of the restart — onboarding, role design, performance cycles, and policy execution against the employee handbook.
• Be the trusted first stop for managers navigating people questions.
• Support compliant, consistent execution of FMLA, leave, benefits, and employee relations matters.

Leadership operating cadence

• Own the rhythm of the business: weekly leadership meetings, monthly business reviews, quarterly planning, and all-hands.
• Build agendas, drive pre-reads, capture decisions, and follow through on action items.
• Protect the executive team's time and make sure the right conversations happen with the right people.

Company-wide communications

• Draft and ship internal communications on behalf of leadership — all-hands decks, organizational updates, policy changes, and restart milestones.
• Translate complex strategic shifts into clear, honest messages every team member can act on.
• Build a steady cadence of internal communication so the company is informed, aligned, and never blindsided.

Leadership of contract recruiters

• Lead and coordinate our bench of contract recruiters as we build out the team.
• Set priorities, manage intake, hold recruiters accountable to SLAs and quality bars, and report on hiring progress to the executive team.
• Partner with hiring managers on role scoping, interview design, and offer strategy.
  

• Experience in business operations, program management, HR, or a blend of the three.
• Demonstrated ability to operate across functions with a wide range of stakeholders, from executives to hourly team members.
• Strong project management instincts and a working knowledge of Monday.com (or comparable platforms).
• Solid HR fundamentals — handbook execution, leave administration, employee relations basics. PHR/SHRM-CP a plus, not a requirement.
• Experience managing or coordinating recruiters or external vendors.
• Excellent written communicator — you can draft a CEO note, a policy update, and a project recap with equal clarity.
• Must be based in Phoenix, AZ. This role is on-site at our Phoenix headquarters — relocation is not provided. Some travel to Tucson.
