Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health concerns through in-depth interviews and standardized screening tools to formulate clinical diagnoses. \n
- Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy. \n
- Facilitate individual therapy sessions, as well as group or family therapy when appropriate, promoting a supportive environment for sharing experiences and strategies. \n
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute mental health crises, ensuring their immediate safety and stabilization. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, adhering to ethical and legal standards. \n
- Educate clients and their support networks about mental health issues, equipping them with knowledge about treatment options and community resources. \n
- Engage in continuous professional development through attending workshops, training sessions, and staying current with mental health policies and best practices. \n
Your clients will include individuals, couples, families, and groups who present with a spectrum of mental health issues—ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and personality disorders. Our approach is holistic, taking into account the diverse backgrounds and life experiences of each client. You will play a critical role in nurturing a therapeutic relationship that facilitates trust, openness, and meaningful change.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A current and valid license as a Mental Health Therapist in California (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW). \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required. \n

- A minimum of two years' direct experience in mental health counseling is required, with a proven ability to engage clients effectively. \n

The Great Bliss Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive annual salary in the range of $85,000 to $100,000 based on experience.
