Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings and periodontal therapy to maintain oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Assist the dentist in patient examinations and treatment procedures. Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations. Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments. Build strong relationships with patients to enhance their dental experience. Requirements Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of Kansas. Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene or equivalent education. Experience in a dental practice preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Proficient in dental software and technology. Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
