Job Full Description Medical Receptionist Location: South Philadelphia, PA Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Medical Receptionist to join a busy family practice in South Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and hands-on phlebotomy experience . This position will assist with front-desk operations while providing excellent patient service and supporting basic clinical needs. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner. Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to patient questions. Verify patient information and maintain accurate records. Handle front-desk administrative duties and patient paperwork. Collect payments and assist with insurance information as needed. Perform phlebotomy and blood specimen collection following proper procedures. Prepare and label specimens accurately for processing. Follow HIPAA, infection-control, and office safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organized reception and patient-care area. Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and office staff. Provide excellent customer service in a busy medical office environment. Qualifications Previous medical receptionist, medical office, or healthcare customer service experience preferred. Phlebotomy experience is required. Strong customer service and communication skills. Comfortable interacting with patients of all ages. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Professional, dependable, and team-oriented. Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
