Job Type: Onsite - Full Time

Location: Santa Cruz, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist with treatment plans and document patient progress accurately and promptly.
• Maintain safe and clean treatment areas and equipment according to OSHA guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure outstanding care.
• Participate in continuing education, clinical in-services, and team meetings.
• Support the operations of the center while fostering a collaborative and positive environment.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program (or equivalent education).
• Current valid State PTA license/registration/certification.
• CPR certification and commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift patients, move equipment, and perform daily duties safely.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs independently.
• Frequent walking, bending, standing, and reaching.
• Clear vision and hearing to maintain accurate records and provide safe patient care.
• Push wheeled equipment and participate in sustained activities during shifts.
