Little Rock, AR. \

Position Summary

The Line Locator is responsible for identifying, mapping out, locating,

and marking underground facilities using sophisticated mapping programs,

electronic detection equipment, and utility maps in communication with

contractors. In addition, they will coordinate and provide assistance in

assessing locations for a need to repair, modify, and expand complying

with industry standards, policies, guidelines, and procedures.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• A minimum of three years experience in field operations.
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to work safely outdoors with exposure to all weather

• Gas distribution system experience
• Safe and accurate operation of tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, field sketches

• Knowledge of construction practices
• Able to use personal computer software proficiently, such as Word,
