Shift Details

8-Hour Shifts (Monday-Friday)
06:30 AM - 03:00 PM and/or 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM
Call Opportunity Available (Not Mandatory)

Pay Range

$45 - $50 per hour

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (OR) to assist in delivering high-quality patient care in the operating room. You will function under the supervision of the RN and surgical team, maintaining sterile fields and supporting surgical procedures in accordance with AORN standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain sterile field using aseptic techniques
Assist surgeons during procedures (scrub/assist role)
Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
Perform sponge, sharps, and instrument counts
Anticipate surgeon needs to ensure efficient procedures
Support patient positioning, prepping, and draping
Maintain OR safety, infection control, and documentation standards

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
Minimum 2+ years of OR experience (3+ preferred)
Experience in Orthopedic, General, Vascular, and C-Section cases preferred
Active Surgical Technologist Certification
BLS Certification (AHA)

Skills & Qualifications

Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures
Excellent aseptic and sterile technique practices
Ability to work in high-pressure environments
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Physical ability to assist with patient movement and equipment handling
