Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Hartford, South Dakota

Step into an advanced imaging environment as a Cath Lab Technologist. Collaborating alongside Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon, you'll contribute to a complete range of cardiac and peripheral services. You will play a central role in diverse procedures, such as Left Heart Cath, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, pacemaker insertion, carotid interventions, kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostics.


Schedule/Hours:

• 8-hour day shifts
• Rotating call coverage for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications & Experience:

• Formal training or certification in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT or equivalent credential strongly preferred
• Prior Cath Lab experience required
• Proficient with x-ray and imaging equipment, including Siemens Artis Zee C-arms
• Familiarity with operating IVUS, OCT, Philips Laser System, and coronary/peripheral atherectomy tools
• Experience using McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and Hemodynamic Systems
• Adept at scrubbing and circulating during procedures
• Excellent teamwork and adaptability in fast-paced, multidisciplinary settings
• Strong communication skills to coordinate care before, during, and after procedures

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced imaging and interventional devices
• Alternate between scrubbing and circulating, including operation of x-ray systems
• Assist with pre- and post-procedure areas, ensuring safe patient transitions
• Transport patients within the department as needed
• Support inventory management and contribute to billing processes
• Maintain a sterile and safe working environment at all times
