Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff and physicians during endoscopic procedures (polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, dilations) and support efficient equipment use during cases
- Disinfect and process endoscopic equipment; troubleshoot and ensure room readiness for procedures
- Set up procedure rooms, transport patients as needed, and stock rooms with supplies and equipment
- Assist patients with dressing and ambulation as directed by nursing staff; apply EKG monitors, BP cuff, and pulse oximetry prior to case start
- Maintain infection control practices, assist with room turnover, and support high-level case flow in the GI lab

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Colorado DORA Surgical Tech registration (CST) required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of endoscopy experience; advanced endoscopy experience strongly preferred
- Current IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) certification
- SGNA Associates/Advanced Associates preferred
- Ability to work 4x10-hour shifts with rotating call
- Eligibility to work in a GI lab setting in Glenwood Springs, CO
