Audit ManagerWeaver is looking for an experienced and motivated Audit Manager to join our growing Public Sector team. As an Audit Manager at Weaver, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to clients across all stages of the audit process, while fostering the professional growth of Associates, Senior Associates, and Supervisors through mentorship and training. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with firm leadership, actively contributing to business development initiatives and supporting key firm administration functions. If you are an initiative-taking collaborator with a passion for leadership and client service, we invite you to join our team!To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldActive CPA license5+ years of public accounting experience or its equivalentExperience leading audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP, GASB, GAGAS (Yellow Book), and Uniform GuidanceExperience working with public sector clients including state and local governments, nonprofit organizations, and/or higher educationPossess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise Supervisors, Senior Associates, and AssociatesStrong relationship management and practice development skillsProven ability to manage, mentor and develop staffDemonstrates independent thinking and strong decision-making skillsWeaver Benefits: At Weaver, our most valuable resource is our people.
