About the Role

Are you looking to grow your analytical and critical-thinking skills in a highly regulated environment? As an Operations Compliance Specialist I , you will support internal auditing and compliance assessment activities to ensure adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) , and internal policies.

In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure to audit processes, data analysis, and compliance documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position is ideal for candidates early in their compliance or audit careers who are eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a structured and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting internal audits to evaluate compliance with FAR/DFAR and internal procedures
• Review and analyze operational and compliance data to identify deficiencies, inaccuracies, or risks
• Document audit findings and prepare clear, detailed reports for management review
• Support corrective action plans to address identified compliance gaps
• Maintain and update audit documentation, procedures, and records
• Collaborate with internal departments to collect and validate audit-related information
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit and compliance processes

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
• In the absence of a degree, 4+ years of relevant compliance, audit, or regulatory experience
• Basic understanding of FAR/DFAR regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with audit procedures, documentation, and data review

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or early professional experience in compliance, audit, or risk management
• Background in the Aerospace & Defense industry, U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. Military
• Experience working with compliance tools, audit software, or enterprise databases
• Strong written communication skills for report preparation

Education & Experience
