General Diagnostic Radiologist Teleradiology Remote | 1099 / Independent Contractor | Night and Overnight Shifts

Teleradiology Reading Team Opportunity

Protean Med is hiring a board-certified or board-eligible general diagnostic radiologist to join our teleradiology reading team. You will read studies remotely from a fully equipped, in-house workstation we provide, covering evening and overnight volume for our hospital and health system partners across multiple states.

This is a flexible engagement built around two scheduling models you choose the one that fits your life.

Schedule:

• Shift length: 8 hours per day
• Shift window: Between 4:00 PM and 7:00 AM ET
• Coverage pattern choose one:
• Alternating weeks: Work every other week, roughly two weeks per month,
• Continuous block: Four consecutive weeks on

What You'll Read:

Volume is largely CT, with the remainder a mix of MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray. This is general diagnostic work no fellowship subspecialty required.

Tools & Setup:

• Diagnostic-grade workstation provided
• In-house reading and worklist software
• Dedicated IT and operations support

Licensure:

Active licenses preferred in any of the following states: PA, CT, NJ, MA, GA, AZ, WA, MI, IL.

Don't hold all of these? That's fine. We'll cover and manage additional state license applications for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with completed radiology residency
• Board certified or board eligible (ABR or AOBR)
• Comfortable with high-volume general diagnostic reading
• Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet home reading environment
• DEA registration and clean malpractice history

Compensation:

Structure: Per-RVU (relative value unit)

Minimum productivity: 10 RVUs per hour
