The Hotel Housekeeping Attendant maintains clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms, suites, specialty spaces, and public areas. Reporting to a housekeeping supervisor or executive housekeeper, this role responds to routine guest requests, supports hotel safety standards, and offers pathways to lead attendant, supervisor, and cross-functional hotel operations opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms, suites, specialty spaces, and public areas.
- Make beds and maintain room presentation standards.
- Sanitize bathrooms and replenish guest amenities.
- Handle, organize, and transport linens appropriately.
- Respond courteously to routine guest requests.
- Manage lost property according to hotel procedures.
- Follow chemical-handling practices and workplace safety requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in hotel housekeeping.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and linen management.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Customer-service and teamwork abilities.
