Pay: $31.50/hour Schedule: We are seeking a part-time (16-hour per week) LPN to work third shift (11:00 PM 7:00 AM) on Friday and Saturday nights.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you'll provide compassionate, individualized care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in home and community-based settings. What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional nursing care and oversight by implementing health care plans, charting vital signs, and administering medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Support individuals in their daily routines, offering personal care and health guidance as outlined in each Individual Support Plan (ISP).
• Build long-term, trusting relationships with the individuals you support and their families.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, guardians, and team members to ensure holistic, person-centered care.
• Accompany individuals on community outings enjoy activities like picnics, movies, bowling, or dining out as part of LARC's vision of "community for all."

Requirements and Responsibilities

What You'll Bring

• A current, active Connecticut LPN license.
• Have a valid CT driver's license, a clean driving record and have reliable transportation.
• Must successfully complete all required federal, state, and regulatory background checks as a condition of employment, including criminal history, driving record, and a pre-employment physical examination, in accordance with Connecticut and federal law.
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain training provided).
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to person-centered care.
• The ability to lift and support individuals with limited mobility when needed.
• (Preferred) Experience working with the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) nursing policies and procedures training provided if needed.
