Job Description Summary:

\n

Shelby Hospital is hiring a casual (as needed/PRN) multi-modality radiology technologist to work diagnostics and CT. A registered technologist with CT experience is preferred. Candidate will also have opportunity to work hours in the Ashland and Ontario Free-Standing Emergency Departments.\n
\n
\nThis position prepares patients for examinations and preforms diagnostic radiology procedures following standards and protocols set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The position requires the technologist to perform procedures in more than one modality. Therefore, the technologist will be multi-modality trained and/or certified in diagnostics or dexa and one additional modality to include CT, MR, US or Mammo.\n

Responsibilities And Duties:

Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics\n
\nConducts routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment; maintains proficiency in each of these areas\n
\nProvides radiation safety for operator and patient\n
\nPlaces patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine.\n
\n

\nAs a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.  \n
\n

Minimum Qualifications:

ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ORD - Ohio Radiographers - Ohio Department of Health\n

Additional Job Description:

\n

Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program. Registered with ARRT. Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
