Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17.25 - $17.25 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Talent Acquisition Assistant :

• Reviews and processes employment applications

• Assists applicants in understanding the application process and completing employment applications

• Notifies applicants of missing documents or information required for employment applications

• Compiles, organizes, and files data related to applicants and positions

• Collaborates with other Human Resources Assistants (Recruiting) to ensure a smooth recruiting workflow and the timely completion of assignments

• Tracks the screening of employment applications and job requisitions

• Assists with faculty and staff job fairs as needed

• Assists Staffing Specialists in preparing for recruitment events

• Provides support to multiple Staffing Specialists simultaneously

• Assists Staffing Specialists with projects aimed at improving the efficiency of Workday Recruiting

• Assists in gathering documentation and preparing data for internal and external HR audits, compliance reviews, and special projects

• Serves as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates, answering questions, and ensuring a positive candidate experience

• Maintains accurate and up-to-date records in Workday, including candidate status updates, documentation, and compliance requirements

• Generates weekly and monthly recruitment reports, tracks pipeline activity, and ensures data accuracy

• Prepares monthly activity reports and other reports as needed

• Performs other duties as assigned

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Excellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as experience with the Windows operating system and internet research

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

• Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete multiple tasks with strong attention to detail while meeting established deadlines

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within the department and across teams

• Ability to adapt to constant change and thrive in fast-paced, high-intensity work environments

• Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed and travel throughout the college district using reliable personal transportation

• Demonstrated commitment to supporting and achieving the vision and mission

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memoranda

• Ability to draft and compose simple correspondence

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from administrators, faculty, staff, and members of the general public

• Ability to resolve problems involving multiple concrete variables in both standardized and non-standardized situations

• Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based formats

• A minimum of 60 completed college credit hours is required

• At least one (1) year of experience in Human Resources or a professional work environment is preferred

• Experience working in a higher education institution is preferred

• Background check and Drug test required
