Territory: Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana (Approx 75% travel)

Our client is an established and highly respected provider serving the construction and structural steel market, and they are looking for a relationship-driven sales professional to take ownership of a high-potential Southeast territory. Focus:

• Own sales growth across a multi-state Southeast territory, developing new business while expanding established customer relationships.
• Manage approximately 35 to 50 strategic accounts with an emphasis on retention, growth, and long-term partnership development.
• Build new opportunities within construction-related markets through proactive prospecting, networking, and customer engagement.
• Understand customer operations and challenges to deliver a consultative, solutions-oriented sales experience.
• Establish credibility with key stakeholders and become a trusted resource throughout the customer relationship.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs and deliver a strong overall account experience.
• Maintain territory plans, pipeline activity, customer interactions, and follow-up documentation within CRM systems.

Skill Set:

• Outside sales experience with excellent relationship-building, communication, and consultative-selling ability.
• Proven ability to balance new-business development with the growth and retention of existing customer accounts.
• Comfortable independently managing approximately 35 to 50 strategic customer relationships across a broad territory.
• Self-driven, organized, and effective at building trust and uncovering opportunities through customer conversations.
• Currently resides in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, or Louisiana and is willing to travel approximately 75 percent.
• Experience selling to structural steel fabricators, steel erectors, or similar construction and industrial customers is highly preferred.
• Existing industry relationships or knowledge of fasteners and related products is valuable, but strong relationship-selling ability is the greater priority.
• Comfortable using CRM technology and standard business software, with a valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the territory.
