Position Information The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacist in various pharmacy services including patient eligibility as well as medication access, filling, and dispensing processes in accordance with applicable rules and laws set by governing bodies including the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Benefits and Work Schedule This position offers a 40-hour workweek, no weekends, full benefits package, 12 paid holidays, and bi-weekly pay. Experience Requirements / Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. National Pharmacy Technician certification required through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board is preferred. Previous pharmacy work experience or Community Health Center experience preferred. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is required. NC Driver License. Basic computer skills. Self-directed with good organization skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a team player. Education Required High school diploma or GED. National Pharmacy Technician certification required through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board is preferred. Hours of Work Thursday 11am-8pm Physical Requirements Individuals may need to sit or stand for long periods of time, occasional bending, stooping, lifting including of patients, reaching forward and overhead. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periods throughout the day. Proper lifting techniques required. Frequent computer work required.
