Key Responsibilities Support system owners and project managers through cybersecurity approval and compliance processes. Review technical architectures, deployment methodologies, and network designs. Interpret cybersecurity and data protection requirements for stakeholders. Ensure cybersecurity requirements are integrated throughout the system lifecycle. Develop and maintain security documentation and compliance artifacts. Assess system risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Provide cybersecurity guidance to engineers and non‑technical partners. Support security reviews, audits and accreditation activities. Work Environment Location: On‑site. Travel: Minimal. Hours: Standard. Qualifications Required Active TS/SCI with polygraph. Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 7 years of experience; additional experience may be substituted for a degree. Experience reviewing, approving, and developing security plans for IT systems. Experience implementing measures to protect systems against unauthorized access, modification, destruction, or disclosure. Demonstrated understanding of information systems, system development, network architecture, and cybersecurity principles. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment. Experience briefing technical and non‑technical audiences. Desired Experience supporting system accreditation or authorization processes. Knowledge of RMF, NIST, and cybersecurity compliance frameworks. Experience supporting intelligence community customers. Security certification such as CISSP, GSLC, or equivalent. Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams. Compensation Basic: $142,000 to $173,500 (Virginia area only). Additional: Bonuses, commissions, sign‑on bonuses, relocation benefits, short‑term or long‑term incentives, or discretionary payments as per internal policy.
