Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care (Vascular Surgery Clinic)

⏳ 13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
Start: 06/12/2026 (Must start on a Friday)

Shift: Day – 5x8 (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

• Monday through Friday schedule
• Outpatient clinic setting

Unit Details:

• Ambulatory – Vascular Surgery Clinic
• Adult vascular surgery patient population
• Fast-paced outpatient environment

Requirements:

• Active New York State RN License
• BLS Certification ( required )
• Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care experience required
• Experience must be within the last 2 years
• Travelers must have experience in hospitals of similar or larger size/trauma centers

⭐ Preferred:

• Ambulatory care experience
• EPIC charting experience
• Triage experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in vascular surgery clinic setting
• Perform patient assessments and nursing evaluations

• Conduct triage and coordinate patient care
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures

• Maintain accurate EPIC documentation
• Educate patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care team
• Deliver high-quality outpatient patient care with minimal supervision
