Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric ICU (PICU) for a contract opportunity in llinois.

Job Details


Pay: $60/hour

Schedule: 12-hour Days/ Nights

Hours: 36 hours per week

Contract Dates: August 10, 2026 - November 7, 2026

Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement: As needed by the unit

On-Call: None

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Float between PICU, PCICU, NICU, and General Pediatrics as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Respiratory illnesses
• Congenital heart disease
• Hematology/Oncology
• Post-operative patients
• Trauma

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent PICU RN experience
• Active Illinois RN License
• Current BLS Certification
• Current PALS Certification
• NRP preferred
