Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while performing essential nursing duties. This position offers a full-time schedule from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Taking and recording vital signs
- Administering intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous (SubQ) injections
- Documenting patient medical histories
- Conducting electrocardiograms (EKGs)
- Performing diabetic foot examinations
- Assisting with Well Woman Exams and the implementation of birth control devices
- Conducting medication reconciliation
- Applying splints as needed
- Communicating test results to patients
Qualifications:
- Current Oklahoma LPN license or a Compact LPN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records preferred
- References must be supervisory and from the past year
- Skills checklist must be current, completed within the last year
