Job Description

AMORE FOR DOGS SANCTUARY is seeking passionate part-time Animal Caregivers to join our small, dedicated team supporting the daily care and well-being of our dogs. This role involves varied shifts including nights, weekends, and daytime hours. Employees will work closely under the direction of the Sanctuary Manager to create a safe, clean, and enriching environment for the animals.

Responsibilities

Handle and care for dogs with compassion and safety
Clean and maintain animal living areas and facilities
Feed animals according to schedules and dietary needs
Monitor animal health and report concerns promptly
Provide enrichment activities to promote animal well-being
Assist with general facility maintenance tasks

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience in animal care
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong animal handling skills
Sanitation and cleaning proficiency
Basic computer skills for reporting and communication
Effective time management and attention to detail
Clear communication and teamwork abilities
Genuine love and passion for working with animals
