Front Desk Supervisor – EVEN Hotel Downtown Omaha

EVEN Hotel Downtown Omaha is seeking a dependable, guest-focused Front Desk Supervisor to help lead our front desk team and support daily hotel operations. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes initiative, communicates professionally, and delivers excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily front desk operations and support staff throughout the shift.
• Assist with guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, billing, and payment processing.
• Address guest questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Train and coach front desk employees on hotel procedures, service expectations, and IHG brand standards.
• Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room readiness, guest requests, and operational needs.
• Review reservations, room assignments, and shift reports for accuracy.
• Follow hotel cash-handling, safety, security, and incident-reporting procedures.
• Drive the hotel shuttle occasionally as needed.
• Assist the General Manager with other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience working at an IHG hotel.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate the hotel shuttle.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead by example, handle competing priorities, and remain professional under pressure.
• Dependability, attention to detail, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hotel Key PMS knowledge.
• Previous hotel front desk supervisory or leadership experience.
