Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Michigan

Location: Pontiac, Michigan

Schedule: Every other weekend required; shifts within a 24/7 emergency department operation

Highlights:

• Provide critical care for a diverse range of emergency conditions including stroke symptoms, cardiac emergencies, trauma, and acute medical situations
• Work within a fast-paced emergency department environment treating life-threatening injuries and illnesses
• Deliver immediate intervention for patients experiencing seizures, severe injuries, respiratory distress, and other urgent conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat patients requiring emergency medical attention
• No on-call requirement beyond scheduled shifts
• Opportunity to utilize advanced trauma nursing skills in a comprehensive emergency setting

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Michigan Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required and must be provided with application
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association
• Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification through American Heart Association
