Phlebotomist Team Leader

Overview Provides leadership, instruction, and guidance to collection staff during blood drives or at branches, ensuring compliance with policies, FDA regulations, and AABB standards. Performs phlebotomy and blood collection procedures, obtains donor medical history and vitals, and manages shift responsibilities including record review. Supports donor recruitment and collection goals, ensures equipment readiness, and monitors performance for training needs. May drive bloodmobile or collection vehicles if assigned. Qualifications Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and six months of related experience. Mobile roles require CDL pre-qualification and CPR certification. Skills & Abilities Ability to follow instructions and operate collection equipment Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Basic computer proficiency and effective public speaking skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism Capacity to operate a mobile vehicle and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds Work Environment & Physical Requirements Tasks involve physical activity such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Work includes indoor and outdoor settings with exposure to weather and blood-borne pathogens. Mobile roles require driving and operating mobile units.
