Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Location: North Carolina (specific city not provided)

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend required.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency center environment, responding to critical situations and managing multiple cases simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages.
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
• Monitor vital signs and perform necessary clinical procedures.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including blood product administration.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in triage and manage a diverse range of emergency situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 3+ years of experience in Emergency Room nursing preferred.
• Current NC State or Compact RN license required.
• Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, BLS required; TNCC and CPI preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is strongly preferred.
