The Property Accountant will play a key role in supporting new property onboarding, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations.Hybrid schedule with a collaborative and supportive team environmentOpportunity to join a growing organization with continued portfolio expansionHigh-visibility role working directly with the Controller, property managers, and ownership groupsExposure to multifamily and commercial real estate accountingOpportunity to contribute to process improvements and new property onboarding initiativesAs the Property Accountant, you will:Perform full-cycle accounting for an assigned portfolio of propertiesPrepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliationsComplete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activitiesPrepare monthly financial statements and analyze financial resultsPartner with property managers and ownership groups to resolve accounting issues and answer financial questionsSupport onboarding of new properties and process improvement initiativesIdeal candidates for this Property Accountant role will have:2+ years of property accounting experienceExperience with full-cycle accounting and month-end closeExperience working with multiple properties and managing competing deadlinesYardi or similar property management software experience preferredStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsThis Property Accountant position offers the opportunity to join a growing real estate organization where you'll have direct exposure to leadership, support portfolio growth, and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting while building strong relationships with property owners and operations teams.
