Physician - Non-invasive Cardiology (WHH)

Additional Job Description West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute seek a Non‑invasive Cardiologist. Ranks available: Assistant Professor , Associate Professor , or Professor . The successful candidate will practice in Wheeling, WestVirginia . Depending on operational needs, the successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional work sites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and is expected to fulfill duties at these additional sites. Duties The successful candidate will practice in the areas of general and interventional cardiology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications • Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for a state license. • Successful candidate must have completed a cardiology fellowship program. • Must be board certified or eligible in Interventional Cardiology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. Travel Additional work sites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania; travel anticipated.
