American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care (Step-Down/IMC) night shift position in Evansville, IN, serving as the facility's dedicated Stroke Unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Job Details

• Stepdown Intermediate Care unit serving as the dedicated Stroke Unit,
• 30-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio,
• Patient population includes medical, cardiac, GI, renal, DKA, sepsis, trauma, and surgical cases,
• Night shift schedule: 18:45-07:15,
• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Indiana or a Compact state currently in hand,
• BLS and ACLS certifications required - both must be AHA-issued,
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required,
• Full Social Security Number and a valid US home address required,
• Driver's License required for consideration,
• Two professional references required,
• No minimum years of experience specified,

• Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius (miles vary by state) may be subject to a reduced pay rate,
