Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) procedures is sought for a facility located in Boston, Massachusetts. The position involves providing perioperative care, including scrubbing and circulating for trauma, orthopedic, neuro, and cardiac cases, within a Level I trauma center. The candidate must have at least two years of relevant experience, be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), and be willing to wait for the appropriate license. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The role includes working 12-hour shifts with a schedule that encompasses weekends and call rotations.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Valid license (willing to wait), BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience, trauma level I experience, teaching hospital experience, EMR experience with EPIC and CERNER, willingness to wait for license, and availability to start on 06/29/2026.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with a total of 36 to 40 hours per week, flexible for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts. Weekend rotation and call duties are required, with call responses within 45 minutes.
• Experience or 'Must have' Skills: scrubbing and circulating for trauma, orthopedic, neuro, and cardiac cases.
• Additional Information: No float requirements; hospital-issued dress code; charge nurse available on all shifts; self-scheduling within reason, with block scheduling not guaranteed; EMR systems include EPIC and CERNER.
• Notes: The manager may auto-offer the position; candidates should confirm interest in interview if necessary; housing is likely not an issue as candidate is from Massachusetts; travel experience preferred; no limitations that would prevent accepting the assignment have been confirmed; professional has explored local housing options.
