The Department of Urology at Stanford University seeks a urogynecologist to join the Department as Assistant Professor in the University Medical Line or Clinician Educator Line. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of the nation's premier academic departments at Stanford University, where clinical excellence, innovation in basic science and translational research, and outstanding education are at the core of our mission. We are particularly interested in candidates who provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical services for women with pelvic floor disorders.
The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the University Medical Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
The successful applicant should be board-certified or board-eligible with an MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent) and fellowship training in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery. This position can be flexibly tailored to match clinical and/or research expertise and interests.

The expected base pay range for this position is $372,000 - $399,000.
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine's faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
