ENTRY Phlebotomist I

Job Title

Pay Range: $13.53hr - $18.53hr

Requirement/Must Have

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy experience is required, including internship or externship experience to cover basic skills.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience is required, such as retail or home health aide roles.
• Keyboard and data entry experience is required.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Must be available to work the scheduled shift, including rotational Saturdays.
• Ability to maintain high standards of attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival and answer questions or concerns with care and compassion.
• Assist patients with check-ins in the lobby using a self-service kiosk or handheld tablet.
• Maintain the integrity and professional environment of the waiting area.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Assist with phlebotomy duties in the draw room to cover staff breaks or shortages.
• Maintain required records and documentation accurately and on time.
• Demonstrate excellence in customer care and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
• Promote a positive image to patients and the public while demonstrating a willingness to learn new skills.

Qualification And Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
