FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Comptroller Department of COMMANDER - NAVAL INSTALLATIONS. Responsibilities You will advise on all phases of financial systems administration, with a primary focus on the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) system and its integration with modern data solutions. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative financial management methods by designing, developing, and deploying custom solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate). You will develop, determine, and interpret policies and best practices for financial data management, specifically governing the security, deployment, and lifecycle of applications within the Power Platform environment. You will engineer and maintain a suite of advanced financial reports, interactive dashboards, and performance metrics, translating complex data from NERP and other systems into actionable insights for leadership. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Working with financial data, including analysis, reconciliation, and reporting; 2) Supporting end users and providing customer service to solve system deficiencies; 3) Proficient in data extraction, manipulation, and reporting tools such as Power BI and QLIK; 4) Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices; AND 5) Analyzing financial data, identifying trends and providing recommendations.
